At Palm Beach Wellness and Detox, our medically supervised recovery team is prepared to help you detox from a variety of drugs, including alcohol, opiates (including Oxycodone, Heroin and Methadone) Benzodiazepines (including Xanax, Ativan and Valium), stimulants (including cocaine, methamphetamines and ecstasy), and others. Each drug treatment classification has its own procedures, and its own risks. Therefore, each person will receive an individualized treatment plan based on their needs. At The Palms, the fact that you are checked in to a comprehensive medical center is reassurance that if there is any unexpected problem, we have the staff and facilities to help you immediately.
Alcohol and drug use can have long term, harmful affects on the entire body. Because of this, in most cases there are co-occurring medical conditions that coincide with alcohol and drug abuse. These medical conditions often times aren’t revealed until the patient is abstinent. Being a hospital-based detox, we have access to hospital grade support for varying conditions, being the safest place for any patient that could potentially have a high-risk detox. People that are at high risk for complications, have complex medical conditions, or are of older age can benefit from hospital-based detox. We have immediate availability of emergency services including the ICU, Cardiac Cath lab, IV fluids, and IV medications. We receive rapid results for blood and urine testing, EKG/cardiac monitoring and diagnostic imaging.
Withdrawal from substance abuse is not only uncomfortable, it can be dangerous, potentially even life threatening. It is vital that the safety and care of the patient during this time is of the utmost importance. Under the medical supervision of Palm Beach Detox and Wellness, we provide the highest level of safety and comfort in a hospital-based detox with personalized attention to each patient. Our 24/7 medical supervision ensures that each patient is stable and safe, and our staff of wellness providers and bedside recovery advocate focus on minimizing discomfort and anxiety every step of the way.

This is your journey, and the path you choose is uniquely yours. Our role is to walk beside you every step of the way.
At Palm Beach Detox and Wellness, we offer a comprehensive initial consultation. At the initial consultation, patients and family will meet with our Board-Certified Internist and Addiction Medicine Physician, as well as our Recovery and Wellness Coach. During this one on one session, we seek to understand your unique situation, as well as your readiness for change. We also assess other factors such as work and travel obligations, as well as the needs of your family/ loved ones throughout this process. Together, we can then help to formulate an individualized treatment plan which best suits your needs.
If it is felt that medically-supervised withdrawal management/ detox would be the safest option, your personal recovery team will continue to care for you throughout your stay in our concierge-level hospital-based detox and wellness center. In addition to hotel-like amenities and concierge service, you will also be offered a variety of wellness services to assist in ensuring your comfort, minimizing anxiety, and providing support and guidance as you prepare to transition to the next step in your journey.
Once you have been medically stabilized and your withdrawal symptoms are well-managed, our recovery and wellness team will assist in your transition to the next level of care. While some individuals may benefit from a more intensive level of treatment in a residential setting, there are a number of other options for continued care which may better suit your needs and personal preferences. Our team will work closely with you and your loved ones to develop a strategy that is individualized and optimized for your success.
We specialize in concierge services catering to high net worth clientele or a higher risk detox patient. Our exclusive center provides the first step toward treatment for substance abuse in a private, supervised environment, where high quality medical care is available 24/7. We understand that each individual has unique medical needs, personal preferences, or professional commitments that will deter them away from a traditional detox facility. Instead of searching through numerous treatment programs that may seem like the best fit for an individual, we create and design a program around the individual’s specific wants and needs. Our medical team and wellness staff collaborate, along with the patient and their loved ones, to customize a treatment plan that includes a medical detox combined with daily wellness services and recovery coaching. The entire recovery team works closely with those who are influential to the patient, such as family members, therapists, mentors, friends, or other referents. It is our mission to provide a tailor made, physician-managed detox where the patient can detox with dignity. Each patient receives compassion and care with the utmost respect and confidentiality from our recovery and wellness team.
How long will the detox process take?
The length of time needed for detox is highly variable depending on several factors including what substance the patient is using, how long they have been using, and the quantity they are using. It can also vary based on any medical complications. We do not discharge any patient until the medical and wellness staff agrees that a patient is stable and ready. Because we are a private pay facility, the length of stay is determined by the progress of the patient as opposed to a facility that takes insurance which may discharge according to how many days the insurance plan will cover. We have the flexibility to keep a patient as long as medically necessary.
Do you offer holistic treatment options?
Yes we do offer holistic treatment care at our facility. Holistic treatment is widely used as complementary and alternative medicine practice in a wide variety of treatment facilities nationwide. We offer mindfulness meditation, acupuncture, energy healing, massage, and rollology just to name a few. Each patient will be able to select from a daily menu of services to fit their individual needs.
What are the costs involved for detox?
The costs involved for detox under the medical management of Palm Beach Detox and Wellness Institute depends upon the individual needs and care requirements. We take great pride in our initial medical patient assessment where our trained physician and team members gain a better understanding and create a tailored care plan. The cost is strictly dependent upon each individual\'s case, what drug or drugs you are detoxing from, the extent and length of your abuse and more. Please call us today at 561.802.0929, and we will be happy to advise you. At this time, we are not able to accept insurance.
